And the Netpac Award was given to Aloners (Hong Sung Eun) South Korea "For pioneering artistic solutions to the nature of human interaction in the context of modern technological complexity and its encounter with universal problematics in an elegant and subtle manner."

The international jury accorded special mentions to Chung Mong - Hong’s Venice selection “The Falls” (Taiwan), Brillante Mendoza’s Busan Kim Ji Seok Award winner “Gensan Punch” (Philippines/Japan) and Yalkin Tuychiev “2000 songs of Farida” (Uzbekistan).

On the whole I liked very much the festival, it has a good atmosphere, more lively, with the venues fully packed, superb screening quality and there are chances to easily socialise with everyone. Probably the best festival I have attended.
